This week’s maritime VHF traffic was led by a boater reporting a child being dragged beside the running outboard motor of a moving fishing vessel near the Maritime Museum. Additional traffic captured a Coast Guard search for a 54-year-old man last seen in the water without a life jacket near Long Beach’s Foxtrot 9 Anchorage and a report of an apparently unoccupied green skiff on the rocks beside ammunition bunkers across from the Point Loma submarine base.

VesselAware™ has joined the Esri Partner Network (EPN), deepening its integration with ArcGIS to better support customers whose Common Operating Picture is built on the Esri platform.

VesselAware Awarded $1.2M Direct-to-Phase II SBIR Contract from the Department of Defense

This Phase II award will allow VesselAware to demonstrate its viability aboard U.S. Navy vessels and at shore-based sites. The effort will focus on deploying and testing the system’s ability to process VHF and AIS data in real time, gathering feedback from Navy and shoreside operators, and identifying pathways to integrate VesselAware Cloud into existing Maritime Domain Awareness platforms across the Navy and DoD.
